不知道你平常有沒有在用英英字典? 如果有的話你一查英英字典 你的問題就迎刃而解了 double 與twice 是皆可以當副詞adv 沒錯但是它們的意思不相同
根據Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary 其解釋如下
twice adv.
1 two times; on two occasions: 兩次
I don’t know him well; I’ve only met him twice. They go there twice a week / month / year. a twice-monthly / yearly newsletter
2 double in quantity, rate, etc.: 兩倍的量
an area twice the size of Wales Cats sleep twice as much as people. At 56 he’s twice her age. Charges have risen at twice the rate of inflation.
double adv.
IN TWO PARTS in twos or in two parts: 兩個, 兩部分, 成雙, 成對
I thought I was seeing double (= seeing two of sth). Fold the blanket double. I had to bend double to get under the table.
這樣你問題不在於是不是adv.而在於該用哪種意思的adv來表達你所要的句意了
