這句怎麼翻譯比較好呢? vested翻譯成既定的，放在這邊感覺不太能理解@@"
這邊這個是一個片語vested in表示權利 財產等等的歸屬
The estate vested in the wife of the victim. 財產屬於受害者的妻子
所以這邊來說的話 就是Ms. Weng完全屬於退休計畫中的時候
P.85例句
The director was very pleased that the negotiations brought about the end of
the strike.
怎麼翻譯後面的the end of the strike比較恰當呢?
strike 可以表示罷工的意思 The workers called a strike.
這邊就是說協商帶來了罷工的結束
P.87
What is the company's policy on _____ for part-time workers?
A) benefited B) beneficial C) benefits D) benefit
答案是C。請問不能選D的原因是因為複數workers嘛??
這邊用語意判斷 由於公司的福利政策不一定只會有一項 因此在表示福利的時候
通常都用複數形的benefits
