[其他] 一些英文問題
因為我這不算是題目
但是問題也是來自於版上所推薦的一本書
「新TOEIC必考單字600」
所以還是想說來這邊希望有好心人能夠幫忙解答
1. 出自Lesson10，beforehead的例句1]
The goods could have been shipped today had they faxed the order beforehead.
關於這個問題，不懂的是had的用法
想要請問這個用法的意思是??
以及是否有其他的例句可供參考?
2. 出自Lesson14，be aware of的例句1
The new staff member wasn't aware of the company's position on working a
second job.
這句話不懂的地方在於on working second job意思
3. 出自Lesson14，vested的例句1
The day that Ms. Weng became fully vested in the retirement plan, she gave her
two week's notice.
這句話似乎主詞不明顯?
出現了she或her，到底誰是誰@"@，有點混淆
4. 出自Lesson16，comfort的例句2
I like to dress for comfort if I'm spending the day shopping.
這個句子不懂的地方在於使用現在進行式所要表達的意義?
是要表示未來式的意思嗎?
目前有遇到的問題大概是這四個
