1. 首先把B,C選項刪除，主要是for跟because of都有表『原因』的意思，兩者一起用就有wordy的感覺了。剩下A,D可選，這邊答案是D：all the harder。因為all the harder表示更加努力地(idioms，來自韋式字典)。 2.前一個句子說找不到皮夾，後面的話中文意思應該是猜測他把皮夾放在那邊這裡選完成式的原因是因為你遺失皮夾在先，找不到皮夾在後，因此A,C選項就刪除了。剩B,D選項，B的should是可能性比較高(70%)，D的could是可能性比較低(30%)，這邊沒有任何證據說明他把皮夾留在餐廳，故選D的could是比較合理。 3.看到兩個逗點，就知道空格內是非限定修飾語(表示可有可無)，這邊選as it were是固定用法，表示『也就是說』的意思。 ※ 引述《ptt809 (成為對的人)》之銘言： : 大家好，新年快樂，想請問2題 : 1.The entire department will have to work ________ because of the : previous setback. : (A)all harder (B)for the harder (C)for harder (D)all the harder : 請問這題是考比較級嗎? 答案是(D) 想知道原因感恩 : 2.I can't find my wallet anywhere.
