說到這個真的滿讓人無言的，前陣子才發現我的I-20已經過期，學校ISAO要我去USCIS申請延長。花了$300，填了一些表格也交了護照影本(上面國籍都清楚寫明了Taiwan, Republic of China)，結果上禮拜收到USCIS的告知信，寫說他收到我的資料跟三百塊支票了，但是國籍資料卻寫Taiwan, province of china = = 我是有打電話去跟他們更正，對方說會幫我弄但是最多要等兩個禮拜才會處理好之類的 ※ 引述《mudphudgirl (阿P)》之銘言： : 之前去申請駕照，居然找不到台灣(Taiwan)， : 只有 Taiwan, Province of China， : 偏偏駕照又不能賭氣不要... : 一肚子氣回家後，我先是直接e-mail負責駕照事務的 : Dept of Public Safety (DPS)，相當然爾沒有回應... : 後來我開始e-mail我們這區的議員， : 剛開始得到的回應很唬爛，說他們的系統是跟著聯邦系統等等: : [DPS] must follow the federal policy as far as recognition of : foreign entities. You will be pleased : (I hope) to know that a request has been submitted to change the : "drop down" menu to read solely Taiwan. My contact indicated : that it may be the first of the year before this change goes : into effect, but your inquiry most definitely caused this change : to be requested. You should receive a response directly from DPS : as well, but I wanted to tell you as soon as possible.
