[選校] 物理 Ph.D

大家好，這是我第一次在這發言，請大家多多指教。
我這學期就要從UIUC畢業了，我申請了物理PHD，目前只有上兩所：
UIUC: stipend 20000/yr for other physics field
fellowship 30000/yr for biophysics program
This program includes working on different lab every 3 months.
In the end of year, you can choose to stay in this program and choose the
professor you like, or you can do other field and be TA.
Caltech: stipend 27000/yr
I wanna do biophysics or condensed matter, but in these two field,
UIUC is all much stronger than Caltech.
UIUC 的program對我來說是相對有保障的，而且在這讀了兩年，完全沒有適應上的問題。
只是就很boring，不會有什麼特別的挑戰。
Caltech 算是完全相反的狀況，什麼東西都要重頭開始。在生物物理和凝態的教授又不多
找不到想要的教授的風險相當大。
問UIUC的教授當然是說留在UIUC好。問朋友的話每個人聽到Caltech都說還需要考慮嗎？
可是對我來說這真的很難選。我春假的時候會去Caltech參觀，只是我還是不知道
能不能做出正確的決定。希望版上的大大可以提供些意見。謝謝^^
