[分享] 關於免簽、畢業生延簽與申根
1. 問：
我目前人在英國，擁有學生簽證，4/30(下個月底)到期。自3/3
六個月內觀光免簽證的新規定生效後，我是不是不用辦任何手續
，就可在英國多待六個月？還是，我必須先離境，再回到英國
本土，便可多待六個月？
又，這段六個月期間，或從現在開始至目前英簽4/30到期前，
我是否可在倫敦申請申根簽證？(因申根規定，我的英簽必須
仍有三個月以上效期，才可在英國辦申根簽。)
台灣BTCO答：
因為我此次入境英國是以學生簽證入境，所以需要先離境，再次
以觀光名義入境才能符合台灣護照6個月以下觀光免簽證之規定。
當我以觀光身份入境英國是無法在英國申請申根簽證的。
2. 問：
I am planning a 1-week return tour Netherlands in early
April and apply Schengen VISA now in London.
As I know my UK VISA needs to be valid for 3 months longer
than my intended Schengen visit, if I want to apply Schengen
in London. My current UK student VISA is valid until
30/Apr/2009, end of the next month. However, a Visa-free access
for Taiwanese visitors to the UK has been launched from
3/Mar/2009, which means Taiwanese people can stay in UK as
tourists for less than 6 months, without applying the UK VISA.
In such case, can I apply Schengen VISA in London now? If I
can't, will it help if I book a ticket directly to Taiwan after
the Netherlands visit?
Netherlands Visa Application Centre答：
You can apply for you visa, but you will need to leave Schengen
area before 10th April, because of an expiry date of your UK
visa. Please note, that the regulations for UK visa are not the
same as for Schengen visa, so if you do not have valid UK visa
you can not apply for Schengen visa.

不過跟朋友一起訂的Eurostar是4/7-4/12
該放棄車票還是衝衝看呢？
