[留學] 想請問到Tuebingen 大學念Ph.D
各位好，
小弟發現Tuebingen 這所大學有釋出我碩士專業的博士(天文物理)職缺
它的 Job Description說:
The positions are available as early as possible. The appointments will be
for three years. Salaries for Ph.D. students start at 1530 EUR per month
(pre-tax). Students are also encouraged to visit workshops and conferences.
We are looking for highly qualified and highly motivated students with a
diploma/Masters or equivalent degree in physics or astronomy. We alsoinvite
applications from applicants expecting to finish their degrees in mid/late
2010.
而且deadline就在9/1
想請問這種三年的博士研究，通常是怎樣的進行方法?
三年沒生到夠的paper就繼續念還是回家?
因為沒有修課和資格考(?) 所以一開始就做研究嗎?
雖然直接寫信去問最快但是不知道怎樣不會冒犯到老師!
另外
Tuebingen 這座城市(大學) 網路上找不太到相關資訊，只有人口等的數據
以及這所學校的學風如何? 周邊的生活環境、住宿等的狀況
只有聽朋友說大致上是一處適合念書研究的學校 周邊比較沒有城市?
雖然就算申請也不知道會不會錄取
不過還是想先了解一下這裡的狀況
