Caro的效用函數 V(x,y)=5x+2y
A=(12,6) B=(8,13)
則題目可以翻譯成：
: (a)Alice prefers Carol's bundle to her own,
=> U(B) > U(A)
but Carol prefers her own bundle to Alice's.
=> V(B) > V(A)
: (b)Carol prefers Alice's bundle to her own,
=> V(A) > V(B)
but Alice prefers her own bundle to Carol's.
=> U(A) > U(B)
: (c)Each prefers the other gal's bundle to her own.
=> U(B) > U(A), V(A) > V(B)
: (d)Each prefer her own bundle to the other gal's bundle.
=> U(A) > U(B), V(B) > V(A)
: (e)None of the above is true.
: 王吉吉老師是說這題答案是(e)，理由是因為不同個體之間效用是無法比較
題目都只有比較 U(A)與 U(B)的大小，還有 V(A)與 V(B)的大小
這只是同一個人對不同消費組合的偏好比較，並沒有牽涉到不同的個體
