[文法] unless的文法及一個小題目~
I:
就我所學得,unless和if一樣在條件句時,副詞子句以現在式代替未來式,可是我常碰
到一個問題就是,有時候unless和if的主要子句並不接未來式
如:
1.Unless you study harder,you can not succeed.
2.If you do not know how to swim,you must wear a life jacker that fits you
appropriately.
請問在這兩個連接詞下兩邊都用現在是的原因是~
II:
如果在條件句下,副詞子句用過去式,那主要子句就用現在式了嗎?(雖然我沒看過這
種句子)
III:
Mendel was an Austrian monk ____________________.
A)who is often called the father of genetics for his study of the
inheritance of trait in pea plants.
B)that has been impressed by the work of a biologist.
這題答案是A,請問B錯在哪裡呢?
我的翻譯:
A)因為他對碗豆的性狀研究讓我們稱他為遺傳學之父.
B)因為他做為生物學家所做的貢獻使我們對他印像很深刻.
