大家好，請教一下在英語論壇問了一個問題： a. I know that everyone should follow this rule. However, I am afraid that Tom failed to do so. I’ve removed ‘that’ x3 and tidied it up a little. You could use a question mark at the end if you wanted to soften it. ＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝＝值得注意的是，他這句話「You could use a question mark at the end if you wanted to soften it.」是「現在事實相反」的假設語氣，我想他是針對於我已經寫了那句話的「事實」，因此用這種假設語氣。但如果用我們中文的思維，「如果想讓語氣變得比較婉轉，你可以在句子最後用問號」，應該會用條件句的方式來寫，「You can use a question mark at the end if you want to soften it.」然而我覺得這是外國人和我們思維方式的差異，所以我如果想強調的是「以後」發生這樣的情況，是不是就可以用條件句來表示呢？我就回文說： If I want to say next time when this may happen, can I say the following?
