omg it's like........amazing 'cause this is practically my first time here. Dogville, i am not sure whether it's ever on in the theater, or whether it's rentable. I watched this movie this summer when I was in Alhambra, LA basically, it's a revolution in movie shooting, since that there's no actual props or settings, instead, it's all abstract and virtual. I had difficulty understanding it, the storyline and how it was organized, but I think the director and the play writer are trying to convey that Trust is something worth doubting, even if it's someone most intimate to u. Nicole ran away from her father, she chose to stay in Dogville, but is this rather a better fate, or life? The residents of Dogville all seem pretty sedate and comely, but when is it because that they all know there's a dark side lurking inside themselves and they could all accept that, and ignore such fact? That would probably explain why the gang rape would have happened. But as a matter of fact, I think Nicole has always been equipped with the power of choosing. She could choose to leave Dogville, which would not lead to the masscre she "choose" to execute later.
