I think it really depends on what kind of person you are, your personality etc. For some people, decision making is very easy. They make them almost instinctively, without much thoughts. Whereas for others, they have to think through all possibilities before making the final decision, and worry about all the "what ifs": what if I decide to go out with this group, would the other group be angry? What if I go out and didn't do my homework? Would I fail the course? etc etc. It's probably better if decisions can be made quickly, but depending on how important the decision is really.
