perhaps you just don't have the idea that how people have their life in Taiwan.
most of people go on the board and check it once a while...
so, you shouldn't be expecting much from them!!
By the way, how is sydney?? I have never been to Australia..
but I have always wanted to go there....
(not after I vist NZ first since LOR is filmed there)
