※ 引述《clouddeep (Be who you want to be)》之銘言: : Even if I use such a title, my issue is different. : I posted a article in a board "study" about hard worked, but there are : some viewpoints make me disappointed. They give a strange conclusion : that is money deciding ability. I am confused. : Maybe money is importnt to improve kids, but I cannot accept such : viewpoint. I don't think money deciding the achievement or it is the : major factor. I can give many excuses to break their viewpoint. There : ia a obvious excuse about the finance of Taiwan. : If the thought of young people is such strange, they use they have no : money to be a excuse to make them accept that they lose deservedly. : No love! Because of no money! : Bad achievement! Because of no money! : It makes me suck! It is the worst excuse I have heared! : Maybe such condition imply we are in the worst era. Young people use : their parents' resource as a matter of course but they can and only can : blame their loss because of NO MONEY! : It's totally BULL SHIT!!!! : ---- : Forgive my words..... : I am just very disappointed..... I think I understand where you are coming from. It seems to be a characteristic of the "strawberry generation". People who have had too comfortable a life, never having to work hard or struggle for a single thing in their entire lives, taking everything for granted, and completely fail to take responsibility for any of their actions. If something goes wrong, it's blame this blame that, blame someone. Blame the government, blame the system, blame the parents, blame the fact that they have no money. In other words, blame everyone but themselves. There is a Chinese saying: 比上不足比下有餘 If you are always comparing with people who appear to be more fortunate than you, people who appear to be doing better than you in life, because they are smarter, richer or better looking, than you will never improve. You will always be unhappy in thinking that you can never be what they are. I don't need to say that that's the wrong attitude. Because everyone knows it. Yet we still all fall for it, every now and then, some more frequently than others. I have attempted to argue, attempted to influence, again and again, on the precise issue that you have pointed out. A disproportionate number of people on PTT seem to hold the firm belief that only rich men will have love, or that money is somehow a pre-requisite to love. I think there might even be a similar discussion on EngTalk sometime ago. On the assumption that we all have enough to survive and provide our basic needs, so that more money is only for luxuries only, then I think a belief that love could possibly be built on that is completely shallow. Not to say that it is completely false, but to me personally, I think it's BS.... -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 222.152.99.77
