How computers affect our lives With the advent of computers, the life of all people in the world comes into a new era. Computers, which are delicate compositions of hardware and software, really have a agreat effect oin people all over the world. One the one hand, they make our lives much more convenient. On the other hand, they produce some detrimental effects on many people. Through their ability of making a grreat amount of computations in a very short period of time, they are applied to applications of all kinds of computer programs which seem to be miraculous and are mostly beneficial and healthful. For example, computers can sort files of all formats well, which make our working schedules and lives well-odered. These softmwares can perform many things which are incredible and impossibel to do without computers. Moreover, the web applications make all people's lives linked with each other, such as commercial transactions, searching of imformations we need, or sharing feelings and emotions with oe another without spending much time on transportation. By contrast, the harmful effects of computers on people are also serious. In my view, the worst detrimental consequences of computers is that they distract many people's concentrations from what they are originally determined to perform. They feel tense and nervous about "not keeping abreast of popularity", so they spend much time on such trivial informations. However, those matters which are popular among people are often vulgar and worthless, and the pursuit of them is a waste of time and spirit. Besides, the danger of many teens and youths nowadays is also highly related computer. It is their addition in playing online games or whtching ornographic movies. For most people, time is money; and for those teens and youths, time is even more precious. It is too late for a youth to regret for the waste of time until his youthhood disappeared. In conclusion, everythings has its bad side, and computer is no exception. It is impossible for us to do without computers in our daily lives, and the danger for many people to be indulged in it is inevitable. Maybe the best attitude toward the dangerous aspects of computers is to make a better self-control on ourselves.
