I've been living in California for a few years. My English is not as good as native English speakers, but I am very happy with what I've got so far. Actually, I realized that there are more and more people are learning Chinese right now since China is getting a lot attention from the world press. So, as a native Chinese speaker (although, we are Taiwanese for sure!), we should be proud of who we are. We are all lucky to be born in this generation, in my opinion. We can learn any language in the world today due to globalization. Especially now, we have internet that could bring pretty much any information you might possibly look for, so learning a different language is not as hard as 500 years ago.
