※ 引述《vesarra (happiness)》之銘言: : I wonder that which one is more difficult? : Learning Chinese or English? : Before I thought it is harder to learn Chinese for foreigners than : we learn English, but I've found that a lot of foreigners who speak : Chinese pretty well. : Sometimes I envy English native speakers their good luck because : they can almost travel around the world in English only. : Some countries, take Taiwan for example, we don't use English a lot, : but people still try to talk to foreigners in English. : Don't you think it's really unfair? : They don't use our language in our country, instead, we use theirs. : Sorry for digression. : Sometimes foreigners say some brief Chinese sentences then we can simply : understand what they mean. In contrast, I think it hard to explain : by using terse words. : Perhaps learning English is more arduous than I thought. Well! I have the same problem recently, perhaps it is just that I don't always take English be my main language in Taiwan. So, there would be some trouble in this "tranformation" between Chinese and English. For instance, once I use Chinese a lot, then it will take me a little time to get familiar with English. Hence I start speaking English with a bad fluency. That's my case. I think maybe my mind is filled with Chinese thinking logic, so, if I suddenly have to say English, I will become a stammerer for a while. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.114.207.69
