I don't think it's a good idea. You have to know how to use the word by
combining it with the other words beside it. Even though there are examples
in the dictoinary, you still have to see how it is used in the full sentences or
in an article with certain topic. Some words have same meaning but may be used
in different situation.
And reading an article can train your reading skills too.
