In this sentence, the order needs to be changed to "my classmates and me" since
you have to "polite" to your classmates.
It would also be good to break up this sentence into two. One talking about
the liking English in the past, and the other about not liking it. Putting
these two sentences together with a comma won't really work.

I think the best way to learn English is by having more contact with it. The
Taiwanese method of learning English is like learning a computer language. You
learn when you need to use what word, when you should use this phrase, when
is this allowed or not allowed, etc. But this method has proved that it is
only good for taking English comprehension and grammar tests, nothing more.
From reading your posting, it is obvious you already have a strong foundation.
This means you have a lot of options opened up to you. Listen to English by watching movies, televisions, audio books. Read
magazines, newspapers, poems. Most of all, try to speak English aloud. The
ability to communicate verbally with others is the most important skill of
learning a new language. Although that won't really help on taking tests, it
is the skill that will be the most useful later in life.
