People get happiness differently. Some can get it out of selfishness. Others have to be philanthropic to get it. Which kind of happiness is greater? When I was little, I had been taught,"you can't get pure happiness without the attachment of morality or guilt" and I believed it. Then I grow up, I have seen so many happy bad guys living on crimes and people's suffering. So I learned that happiness is not something that can be regulated, but just a mental state that can be perceived by even an asshole, a jerk, a bastard or a motherfucker. People are born with nature neither good nor bad. They may have different characters, but these various characters are always modified by the family or the society they are born into. As a result, we have human monsters living among us, monsters with no guilt or moral sense, but a happy state of mind. That's also a life. Different kind, but a happy kind, nevertheless. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.171.133.64
