Started to follow some podcasts lately just to entertain myself during my comm
ute to work.
One podcast I had this morning was talking about the key to happiness,
which is to know you are not enough
and to make progress of yourself
Even though it sounds kind of like a cliche when I came to think of it, the po
dcast resonated with me when the host shared the idea of having a partner that
always pushes you to your full potentials.
That’s totally me and my partner.
I was always annoyed by him bugging me to grow my skills and not letting me ju
st relax after an exhausting day.
And now I began to appreciate his nosiness especially knowing he also holds hi
mself to a higher standard and constantly learns new things.
It’s also great to have someone to relax with and to enjoy the luxury of doin
g nothing every night/weekend...
But for me, at this stage of my life, I enjoy having someone pushing me and ke
ep me going although that’s not always pleasant (we have arguments all the ti
me).
