I've had both monolingual and bilingual girlfriends... but what does it matter?
To me, what's important is sharing lives and experiences, and since I'm
bilingual, someone who's monolingual will not be able to share in 1/2 of my
life. That's how I see it.
She doesn't even have to be fluently biligual (OMFG it would be so great if
she was, though :p).
