From my own personal experiences, it depends on what part of the USA you are talking to. I live in tennessee and everyone I know always says bye. My friend in New York says later, and my cousin in California just hangs up without saying anything.. lol- But however those are just only 2 people I know in different states. But it just depends on the person and if they are mad/sad/ or happy. However it is very rude to not tell the person you are speaking with bye ※ 引述《kaikai1020 (我只用ㄅ半)》之銘言: : Something I found interesting as I watched several US dramas that : Americans never end their conversations with good-bye but directly hang up. : Wouldn't it be rude considering the manners we were being taught in schoool : that we should always inform the receiver with bye-bye at the end of call? : Is it the real in western society or that's just how they act in movie? -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 163.29.241.239
