[Talk] Gone
So, my grandma passed away two hours ago. Weird. I feel hollow and lost. Shock
and upset. I had seen this coming but still can't cope with it well.
She'd been ill since last month. Went in and out of hospital repeatedly. Doctor
said she was ready to go. I didn't know it could be so soon. I thought she
would stay with us til Christmas. And probably New Year if we got lucky.
I didn't even had the chance to say goodbye to her. I had classes. My father
told me not to come.
My brother sent me a message, "Grandma didn't feel any pain when she was gone."
And I just sat in the class, pretended nothing happened.
I'll come to see you tomorrow, grandma.
