※ 引述《dosandonts (小男生廠長好!)》之銘言: : "A critical life lies on how you're respected and remembered." said dosandonts. : Today I coincidently know that our relatives are approaching death and : some are even already dead with not a long life. : Neverthekess, my father told me that he would not keen to live long, : especially not dying after 75 yrs old. : Suddenly I feel that I am alone and maybe I will follow my father's steps : afterwards. : There is something which reminds me a lot for example, have you been thinking : maybe yourself will not live that long? Or what age will be your terminal? : (Sorry if it were offensive.) : Now I really think over our life goals and how long will it take for a : lifetime. Nothing ever turns out like we plan. : Do you have any suggesstion which I can obey? It's nothing to be ashamed of. We'll die when our time is up. All animals rely on the abilities they excel at to support their lives. e.g. the king of the raptors... the eagle! The eagle, with wings to soar through the heavens. talons to tear apart prey, a beak, through those things, it supports its life. In short, ability/talent is "Life". I suppose it's fine... even if a person decides he doesn't need it, that's fine. He doesn't have to keep on living. At first glance, death may seem cruel, but staying alive when he's lost his abilities is far more cruel. "Keep on living" That illusion is what so many people suffer under. People can live freely and die freely. It's not that difficult to figure out. It's a relief. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc), 來自: 121.222.118.239 ※ 文章網址: https://www.ptt.cc/bbs/EngTalk/M.1463341290.A.224.html
