※ 引述《liling0903 (liling)》之銘言: : My son, a 5 years old kid will attend a couple private elementary school entra : nce exams. I want to help him preparing for the English oral exam. If anyone : could tell me about the questions of this kinds exams or share your experienc : es. I will be very appreciative. : Thank you! My son, when he was 5 years old, went to an interview for an elementary school. School was somewhat prestigious in HK. His application was denied. Though I am pretty sure that his being rejected had nothing to do with his English conversation skill. I was convinced that he was rejected because his parent were nowhere near the prestigious level the school was looking for. Seriously - don't make a big fuss about these "oral exam". Five years old boys are not as mentally steady as mature adults. Over emphasizing can lead them to unnecessary stress and unexpected poor performance. Try to find out what the particular school has in their format of these oral exams. Make it like a play routine at home - familarity can help them cool the nerves. My daughter, on the other hand, was an overachiever. In her interview with the school, she replied "I can count to one hundred!" with enthusiasm, when they asked her if she can count to ten. That year she was five years old too. ※ 編輯: woeisi (209.6.175.234), 03/21/2019 01:49:01
