[計量] OG裡面的Solving problem 練習的第16題
"what is the combined area, in square inches, of
the front and back of a rectangular sheet of paper
measuring 8+1/2 inches by 11 inches"
A. 38
B. 44
C. 88
D. 176
E. 187
那個詳解如下
since for a rectangular (width)(length)=area
the combined area of the two sides of the sheet is 2*8.5*11=17*11=187
看起來好像很簡單...
但我不知為何有點鬼打牆
為什麼要乘以二呢?
combined area 就是合起來的面積不是嗎? 還是有其他的意思
