那我想請問一下下面這句對不對?
(修改自pp1-149)
scientists believed that cells either secreted hormones, making them endocrine
cells and thus part of the endocrine system, or conducted electrical impulses,
in which case they were nerve cells and thus part of the nervous system.
如果我的理解是：
cells secreted hormones的這件事，使得cells成為endocrine cells
那麼這個句子有問題嗎??
