首先，這題為Prep3題目，答案為B
解法大致為:
Step 1: drive-ins為可數名詞，必須用fewer來修飾，所以less錯誤，刪除ADE
Step 2: amount搭配不可數名詞，number搭配可數名詞，所以fewer跟amount放在一起
是有衝突的，刪除C
=> Ans: B
補充: B的答案中，as many有兩種說法，
1. 為一固定用法: as many = a number that is equal to another number
2.為一省略: 還原後為there are fewer than one-quarter as many drive-ins
as are there in the 1950's
