(可以省略嘛？) 這裡出現的是被動結構，也就是S+V+O變成的O+ be Ved +by S結構，但是by+S已經被省略掉了，從than往前看句子結構只有S+be Ved，並不會產生比較對象到底是比主詞或受詞混淆問題，因為than後面的名詞對讀者來說一定知道是在比前句主詞，這裡就像是莫老師常舉的一個例子: I am tall. You are tall.
