原句由下面改寫來的： ...as (owing and living in a freestanding house) 改成代名詞it was (a goal) of ealier generations 重複資訊可省略 ※ 引述《jackie1984 (Jackie)》之銘言： : According to a recent poll, owning and living in a : freestanding house on its own land is still a goal : of a majority of young adults, like that of earlier : generations. : (A) like that of earlier generations 通常用like來作對比時，會跟『要比較的名詞』放的相近一點。這邊看來會讓人誤以為是young adult 和earlier generations在比較。可是，實際上是兩組人的goal在比較。 : (B) as that for earlier generations as後面要接主詞＋動詞 : (C) just as earlier generations did did和is不平行 : (D) as have earlier generations have在句尾表示have been，為現在完成式。跟is不平行 : (E) as it was of earlier generations was和is平行。而且用it指代owing...house很清楚。 : (底線部分是: like that of earlier generations) : 此題答案是(E) : ===================================================== : OG解釋說(E)句子和題目句子結構相同: : owning and living in a freestanding house on its own land => it : is => was : of a majority of young adults => of earlier generations : 但這樣子不就變成是 "of earlier generations" 修飾 "it" : 和題目的 "of a majority of young adults" 修飾 "a goal" 不一樣了? a goal只是省略了因為舊的資訊在句尾可以省略像是新資訊才要留著（ex.本題中句尾的was相較於前句的is就是新資訊，一個過去式，一個現在式） : 我總覺得(E)要變成 as it was the goal of earlier generations才對 >///< : 是不是我的認知錯誤了? 請協助 : 謝謝 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 118.167.153.161
