Possible benefits of coronary bypass surgery include both relief from : troubling symptoms and prolongation of life. : D. The patients over 65 years old who did not benefit from the coronary : bypass surgery were as fully informed as those who did benefit from the : surgery as to the risks of the surgery prior to undergoing it. 以上題目皆未提到，無法判斷。 : C. Most of the patients in the survey decided to undergo coronary bypass : surgery because they were advised that the surgery would reduce their risk of : future heart attacks. 可能因為題目第一句：Of patients over 65 years old who survived coronary bypass surgery — a procedure widely prescribed for people with heart disease，會選它為答案，但仔細一看，應該不太一樣。題目描述的是“事實”，即“有心臟疾病的病患，醫生大多採coronary bypass surgery來治療”；但選項C說的是“因果關係”，即“大部分病患決定動手術是因為(被告知)手術可以降低以後心臟病發的風險”。所以答案是： : E.
