[字彙] reprehend 怎麼解釋啊?
不知道可不可以在這問?
就是我讀到reprehend這個字
字典上是說re(back)+prehend(seize , hold)
"抓回來,拿回來"的意思
但是這樣要怎麼延伸到"譴責"的意思呢?
相近的有reprove , reproof, reprobate,但是它們都是
opposite+test,這個比較好推敲,就只有reprehend我不懂
