想請問高手們, 很多polysemic words其實都是metaphorically related, 以下五個字,除了第五個明顯是homonym之外, 一到四應該歸為polysemes還是metaphors呢? 百思不解~@@ Determine whether the words in each of the following sets are polysemic, homonymous, or metaphorically related. In each case, state the criteria used to arrive at your conclusion. (1) an ear (for music); an ear (of corn); an ear (as auditory organ) (2) to run down (the stairs); to run down (a list of names); to run down (an enemy) (3) vision (the ability to see); (a man of) vision (4) the (driver’s) seat (of a car); the seat (of the government); the seat (of one’s pants) (5) to spell (a word); (under) a spell; a (dry) spell -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 114.24.187.187
