If you were an employer, which kind of worker would you prefer to hire: an inexperienced worker at a lower salary or an experienced worker at a higher salary? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer. In my opinion, I will depends on the context of job to hire the suitable employees. Nowadays there are various kinds of jobs, and each of them need different skills and abilities. Choosing the person who really fit the conditions of the job, coworkers, leaders, even the company is more important than how much you have to pay. There are still many reasons I support this argument, and I will mention some of important ones below. To begin with, when the demands of a job weight more on the passion and personality more than the skills, I think it is better to hire the novice. Because people will be more motivated by something new or challenging, they are willing to put more effort inspite of hard work. For example, when I was a college student, I had a part-time job in the cram school to promote the lessons. Although I had no experiences about marketing or social skills, I still got higher performance than others. My leader even increased my salaries when I went to work just for three days for my hard working and courage to talk to anybody. Therefore, I think some jobs even more suitable for novice. In addition, if the ability of the job is complicate, the boss should pick the employee with more experience. Although the company has to pay higher to the experienced employee, it would save more cost to teach or train a new one. Moreover, there are some implicit profits to hire a experienced person. He can share experiences or support others when they get into trouble or need help. Take me for example, when I became an experienced employees in the cram school, I transferred to be leader of a marketing group. Although my salary was higher, I understood that I also had more responsibilities, such as deciding the strategy of marketing and arranging the schedule of the program. Furthermore, I even had the pressure to train my subordinates to be better rather than just do my work. So I even spend more time to work comparing to the novice. In conclusion, I think the boss should choose the employees depends on the needs of the job in spite of the salary. 很久沒有寫作文 請大家不吝指教...>.<: 由於我是限時寫的 所以最後一段不完整 請見諒....>.<~ -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.112.110.193
