: 2. Which would you choose: a high-paying job with long hours that would
: give you little time with family and friends or a lower-paying job with
: shorter hours that would give you more time with family and friends?

I prefer to a high-paying job which takes me more time with my family
and friends. I do agree that accompanying with someone I love is necessary,
however, as an adult, I should take the responsibility to earn more to offer
my family, and make my life better.
My family has offered me financial aids for twenty five years, and it's
time for me to feedback. My parents are no longer young, and they need my
support seriously. To show my appreciation toward them, I choose to work
harder. A job with longer hours can also make me comfortable when facing
others. If I choose the lower-paying job, I might stay at
home most of the times, having nothing to do. Besides, I'd suffer pressures
from my relatives and friends. They might ask "Why are you always at home?"
Thinking of this embarassing situation, I'd rather choose a higher-paying job
so that I can be proud of myself.
Furthermore, living quality is more important than quantity. Although I
may have fewer time with my family, higher payment will ensure us a better
living quality. Thus, we'd see every moment we are together more valuable.
If I can offer my family a great deal of money, we can do many things we
really like to do without considering about the cost. Although I may have
fewer time with my family, higher payment will ensure us a better living
quality.We may go abroad, buy whatever we want, and go to fine restaurant on
weekends. On the opposite, live will be dull if we have to be careful on the
cost of everything. Same as with friends.
In brief, I believe that a job with higher salary can not only let me
take the duty of taking care of my family, but ensure me a life with better
quality. With lower income, life will be tough, even when I'm accompanied with
my family and friends.
