People have different ways of escaping the stress and difficulties of modern
life. Some read; some exercise; others work in their gardens. What do you
think are the best ways of reducing stress? Use specific details and examples
in your answer.
How to escape the stress and difficulties? Some people believe that exercise
is the best way to relax themselves. Other people take the view that reading
is more efficient. While both methods may have their advantages and
disadvantages, they can be applied under different circumstances. Afterwards,
I will explain my opinion about it.
First of all, exercise is the favorable way to escape the stress when you
were already working a whole day. When you exercised, your brain was
secreting “morphine”. It will make people happy. I speak for my experience.
I had a part-time job in my university’s library. After an entire day
working, I was tired out. Then, I went to a gymnasium doing exercises. When I
exercised, I could forget anything about unhappy and tiredness.
In addition, reading is the efficient method to forget the difficulties of a
daily life. Here is my personal experience. When I finished the mid-term
exams or an important report, I always read novels to relax myself. It is
very helpful to me. Moreover, when I finished a novel, I will write down my
thoughts in my blog. Reading a novel, not only can escape the stress, but
also can advance my soul.
What’s more, travel is also a excellent way to forget the stress and
difficulties of modern life. Take my college classmate for example. Emily is
one of my best friends in my university. Her family is very affluent, so she
often went to travel for relaxing herself. She said, when she traveled to a
strange country, she will feel exciting. Every strange thing would attract
her, and she will forget any stress in her mind.
Considering the above examples and methods, it is apparent that how to handle
the stress and difficulties in our daily life is very crucial. Thus, we
should find out which one is the best and the suitable way to handle our
stress.
