Schools should ask students to evaluate their teachers. Do you agree or disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer. ================================================= Nowadays, some school set evaluation system for students to score their teachers on every course at the end of semesters. The results of the evaluation can influence the promotion of teachers, which motivate them to make better performance in classes. However, it also faces great controversy among teachers. Disapproval states that students may give bad scores on vengeance if they get unsatisfied accomplishments. As for me, I definitely agree students should evaluation their teachers. The first reason is, as why the system settled, to confine teachers from ignoring the teaching quality of classes. University professors, especially, have two main missions –research and teaching; some may emphasize more on research and order their assistants to deal with most of the student affairs, even without any renewal of teaching materials every year. With the evaluation system, students can pick out the dawdling teachers. Secondly, we all may experience some impressively wonderful courses, which have different advantages, such as the vivid teaching style, the care from teachers, the well-organized handouts and so on. All of them really benefit our learning considerably. Therefore, as a reward, we can honor the conscientious teachers by the evaluation system to let their efforts being noticed. Besides, I think this indirect cause support me to agree the evaluation system that it makes power reverse by mutual evaluation. Not only do teachers grade students, but students grade their teachers. Both sides learn and supervise the other, which stimulate progress of a school.
