[寫作班] 托福第21週 samp05 1
1. Some people think that governments should spend as much money as
possible on developing or buying computer technology. Other people
disagree and think that this money should be spent on more basic needs.
Which one of these opinions do you agree with? Use specific reasons and
details to support your answer.
In my opinions , it should be spent on more basic needs . The first reason
is that government resources are derived from taxes payed by citizens .
Properly citizens deserve to get feedback equitable from government . In
addition , some area flooded every year as long as a typhnoon comes or a heavy
rain in Taiwan. Government have responsibility for citizen's safety and
existence .
Secondly , I would rather spent it on education than buying computer
technology . Once my professor mentioned the core competence of Taiwan was more
weaker than other countries such as Japan , Germany or Sweden because of
educational problems .In order to ensure sustainable development in Taiwai , do
more investment in basic education and skill training is necessary .
To conclude , government should invest more resources in education to enhance
the quality of students in long-term consideration . As long as we keep these
talented people in Taiwan , we can develop our own computer technology but
purchase it. Of course Government should offer a safe and stable environment in
advance . To sum up , i support the opinion which disagree with spend more on
buying computer technology.
