1. Students at universities often have a choice of places to live. They
may choose to live in university dormitories, or they may choose to live
in apartments in the community. Compare the advantages of living in
university housing with the advantages of living in an apartment in the
community. Where would you prefer to live? Give reasons for your
preference.

There are great differences between living in the university dormitory and
apartment in the community, such as traffic, environment, etc. Considering
all of the advantages and disadvantages, I think I prefer living in the
apartment in the community.
First, comparing living in the dorm, living in the community have
better life quality . It makes me need not to suffer to the school bell
ringing in each hour, which will really annoy me while I am resting, doing my
own personal thing, and even retard my efficiency on my work. The school bell
is not the only reason to break the tranquility, the neighbors and the small
size of the dorm creating bigger problem. Combining the two factors,
the personal life is too easy to be effect by others, making the personal
privacy easily vanish, and thus worsen quality of living.
Besides, as a person who is really cared about the sanitation, living
in the apartment in the community let me don’t have to share the public
sanitation facility with others. Also, I am person enjoyed cooking. Offentimes,
I like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen making my own dinner.
Nevertheless, unfortunatly, the university dormitory definitely won’t
provide me such benifit.
To sum up, living in the apartment provides me better living quality,
and gives me more privacy. For my own personal favoritism, there are too many
restrictions living in the dormitory to stop me from doing the things I like.
As a result, I prefer living in the apartment in the community instead of
in the university dormitory.
