Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People behave differently when they wear different clothes. Do you agree that different clothes influence the way people behave? Use specific examples to support your answer. There’s an important controversy centering on the question that whether people behave differently or not when they wear different costumes. One school of though attributes that people should have diverse acts when they put on different kind of clothes; however, some group point to different possibilities. In my opinion, I prefer the former perspective and my reasons for this point will be shed light on as follows. Clothes play an important role in our daily lives. When people go to different places or occasions, they will dress themselves on different clothes to the match up the atmosphere. You might not wear a t-shirt to join a party or a short to a high-class restaurant. Furthermore, the costumes will also restrict people’s behaviors, and people will disguise themselves to go along with the outfit. You will move like a lady when you wear a shirt instead of crossing legs when you sit. Also, in order to keep a temperament, you will act more elegant as possible as you can. On the other hand, you could roughly judge one person by his dressing. The person wearing a clean suit and a pair of polished shoes would have more tendencies to behave elegantly. On the contrary, the person wearing a casual jean and a pair of slipper would likely be more indiscreet. The reason is simple. The style of clothes that people like represents what people think in mind. And, it also can imply the personality of one person. Judging from the appearance and outfit may be a little unfair. However, in term of psychology, most people will reveal what they think from the surface. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 140.120.80.19
