美國中央司令部司令、海軍上將布拉德庫柏週一證實，伊朗當天早些時候使用巡航飛彈、
無人機和小船襲擊了霍爾木茲海峽的美國商船和軍艦。
根據路透社報道，庫柏在電話會議上告訴記者：「美國摧毀了六艘試圖幹擾軍事行動的伊
朗小型船隻。」他還表示，美國「強烈建議伊朗船隻遠離該地區的美國軍事設施」。
伊朗官方通訊社伊通社駁斥了庫柏的說法，稱週一沒有一艘所謂的「快艇」被摧毀。
