All後面不接否定。正確：None of us wanted to go to bed. : [9] It is not allowed to talk in the library. allow前面不能用虛主詞 : [10] The man was covered in blood but the woman was allright. : [11] I hope you are feeling alright now. all right是兩個字，意思是一切都好 alright = ok 所以[11]沒有錯 : [12] We decided to make alternative arrangements in case the hotel was fully : booked. 這題正確 : [13] He put the knives altogether in the middle of the table. all together兩個字 altogether = completely : [14] The amount of accidents is steadily increasing. amount後面只能接不可數名詞 : [15] Large amounts of money is required. ^因為它有加s，是複數，所以後面be動詞當然就要用are A large amount of money 是指「一大筆金錢」 Large amounts of money則是指「金額很大而且是好幾筆的金錢」，例如在說資金之類的 : [16] I'm writing in reply to your letter that I've received two days ago. 把ago改成before 或把完成式改成過去式 : Cloze Test : [1] The sales manager was absent _____ the meeting. absent from : [2] People think he resigned _____ his own accord. of his own accord 出自他個人意願 : [3] _____ the afternoon we have two hours of classes. In 非特定的下午 : [4] There's a meeting _____ Thursday afternoon. On 指定某一天的下午 : ??
