1.先分S+V+O
(Researchers)→S
(have claimed)→V
(that the improvement in antibody response due to
the new drug has decreased patients'time spent in recovery.)→O
2.受詞又為一個名詞子句S+V+O，因此接下來要分解名詞子句
(that the improvement in antibody response due to the new drug) →S
(has decreased)→V
(patients'time spent in recovery.)→O
在地2部分分解O的步驟，我們可以看到due to 接的是new drug 名詞
而且due to 確實是接名詞或動名詞沒錯
