Subject: A Post-doctoral position for the development of food models
at INRA (France)
Dear Colleagues,
The joint Research Unit for Microbiology and Food Process Engineering at INRA
Versailles-Grignon (France) proposes in collaboration with the Complex system
institute, Paris-Ile de France a postdoctoral position crossing over complex
systems and food science for the developments of concepts, methods and tools
for reverse engineering purposes.
This work will be developed whithin the frame of the European project : DREAM
for the developments of food models to control and optimize their conception.
We expect to propose new tools to analyze food models and to propose new way
to control the viability and robustness of the system.
A comparison of results reached using determinist and stochastic methods will
be achieved. Geometric calculus coupled with optimization algorithm will be
proposed.
The initial appointment will be for one year with a possibility of extension
depending on performance.
Gross monthly salary: 2150 € possibly re-evaluated according to the
applicant’s qualification
Starting date: June 2010, but the announcement of the position is valid until
the position is filled.
Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality conditions: all countries but France
To be doctor at recruitment date (French doctorate, PhD or foreign doctorate
of equivalent level)
