Project:
PIN1BPs and PIN1 protein interaction and functional regulation of Pin1
3 year post-doctoral positions are currently open for experienced researchers
to work in the above projects funded by Taiwan National Science Council.
The selected candidate will study the PIN1BPs and the functional regulation
of some WW domain-containing proteins involved in the cancer and
Alzheimer’s disease.
Profile:
PhD degree in Molecular or Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Medicinal Chemistry
or related areas.
Methodological approaches:
Epithelial cell culture; genetic engineering techniques; protein analyses;
general molecular biology and biochemistry manipulations; advanced cell biology
(immunofluorescence microscopy) techniques; tumor xenograph model,
soft agar colony fomration assay, protein-protein interaction, kinase assay.
Place of Work:
Department of Clinical Medicine, National Cheng-Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan.
Starting date: September 1st 2008
Duration:
These positions are offered for one year period, renewable for another 2 years.
Amount: ~28,000 US $/ year
Requirements:
Previous research experience demonstrated by scientific peer-reviewed
publications.
