(SOA) Fellowship Exams to be offered twice per year beginning Fall 2011
Benefits
Candidates will benefit from this change in the following ways:
Candidates can take the exams in a recommended order.
Candidates can focus on a particular exam until it is passed, rather than alternating between two exams.
Candidates who are unsuccessful on their final exam may take it again in six months, rather than one year later.
Employers may also see advantages including:
Exam choice options for candidates.
Availability of better sequenced learning, leading to more robust knowledge.
Reduced travel time through the FSA level requirements.

總結就是一年兩次考試可以為大家省些travel time
版上似乎以考AFE+FETE居多，現制AFE就是一年兩次的考試
這項變革對於這個考試組合的影響較小
不過還是不錯啦，對於FETE fail一次的人，一年兩次考試可以幫你省下半年
