這段講的是 生氣的程度與引起生氣的事情成正比，但憤怒則否。

是什麼意思呢？
我自己解讀 to one's satisfaction 是 "讓自己滿意" 之類的意思，
但是整句看起來好像變成
"憤怒的程度與我們為了令自己滿意而說、而做(或不說、不做)的事情不成比例"
這種... 看不懂的句子..
其實這句的原文我也看不大懂.. 請問後面那句話到底是什麼意思呢？
