這裡原諒我再多囉嗦幾句
希望如此一來以後遇到類似的句子都能迎刃而解
教科書上一般教法是
less A than B 1.不是A而是B
2.是B甚於是A
3.與其說是A不如說是B
例句
eg. The key to his success lies less in luck than in diligence.
他成功的關鍵與其說是在於運氣，不如說是在於勤勉。
我從參考書上得到的整理如下
less A than B
= more B than A
= not so much A as B
也就是上述的例句可以改成
The key to his success lies less in luck than in diligence.
= The key to his success lies more in diligence than in luck.
= The key to his success lies not so much in luck as in diligence.
